Brian “Whiskey” Kimola is a long time local of the Ucluelet-Tofino area. He is a colorful story teller and poet, full of local knowledge and history. He grew up in Grice Bay (near the Tofino airport) where many of the stories he shares take place. In this episode, he describes what life was like for his family before and after the establishment of the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.  We also finally get the answer to the burning question, "How did you get that nickname?"

Brian currently resides in Ucluelet BC, where he is considered a local legend.
